Security and control
You decide what the assistant is allowed to do
An assistant that writes to your customers has to be governable. Whappy rehearses before it launches, earns what it is allowed to do, writes down every action, and stops the moment you start typing.

How control is handed over, one step at a time
It rehearses before anyone real sees it
Six invented customers go through your campaign first: one answers everything, one dodges, one only wants a price, one misunderstands, one replies in another language, one gives one-word answers. Nothing is sent to anybody. You read the transcripts before a single real lead is touched.
It earns what it is allowed to do
Five levels, from read-only to operating on its own. A new assistant starts at the bottom and moves up by passing a rehearsal and launching cleanly. You can hold it at any level for as long as you like, or move it back.
Every action is written down
What the assistant did, when, and in which campaign. The log is yours to read at any time, which is what makes an answer possible when someone asks what was said to a customer.
You can take over mid-sentence
Open any conversation and type. The assistant stands down for that chat and stays down until you hand it back. There is no waiting for it to finish a sequence.
Where things run, and what we do not claim
Where your data lives
- Hosted in the EU
- The application and its database run on Google Cloud in Belgium. Nothing is hosted in the United States.
- Messages travel under your own number
- Conversations go through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform on the number you connected, so your customers see you, not us.
- Replies are generated on Google Vertex AI
- The assistant's wording is produced through Vertex AI using your campaign, your questions and the documents you uploaded.
- Payments never touch our servers
- Card details go to Stripe. Whappy stores a customer reference and a plan, never a card number.
What we do not claim
- No badge we have not earned
- Whappy holds no security certification today, and you will not find one displayed on this site. When that changes it will be because an auditor said so.
- No customer numbers we cannot show you
- Every figure on this site traces to a product query or to a customer who approved it in writing. There are no stock testimonials.
- No claim of anonymity for the assistant
- We recommend telling people they are talking to an assistant, and the FAQ says so plainly.
What stays in your hands
- How the assistant introduces itself
- You write the opening line. Disclosure is your wording, and it is what we recommend everywhere the EU rules apply.
- Deleting your account
- Delete it from the app and the workspace goes with it. You do not have to email anyone to leave.
- Who on your team can act
- Seats and roles decide who can change a campaign, and agencies act on a client's workspace only while switched into it.
Questions people ask before connecting a number
Can the assistant message someone I never approved?
No. It writes to leads in a campaign you built and started, on the number you connected. Until a campaign is running it can rehearse against invented customers only, and a rehearsal sends nothing.
Where exactly is my data stored?
In Google Cloud's Belgium region: the application, the database and the uploaded documents. Message delivery itself passes through Meta, because that is how WhatsApp works.
Will my leads know they are talking to an AI?
That is your call, and you write the words. We recommend saying it is an assistant for your business: leads respond well to a fast, honest answer, and disclosure is expected under EU rules. You can watch every chat live and take over at any moment.
Do you hold a security certification?
Not today, and we would rather say so than display a badge we have not earned. What we can point at is where the data runs, what the assistant is allowed to do, and a log of everything it did. If your procurement needs a specific standard, tell us which one and we will say plainly where we stand.

The demo runs on Whappy's own number, so you can read the assistant's first message before you connect anything.
